My little brother Joe is adorable! He is known for his story telling, which he will tell a story to anyone who is listening! When we took the job in Ky we told our siblings that we would still be able to see them a lot more than when we lived in Idaho, but not nearly enough as when we were living between our parents homes! Last night while I was on the phone with my mom (the second time) she told me that Joe really wanted to talk to me. He is upset because Adam is not keeping his deal with getting a job closer to home (we told the kids that we are hoping to move back to Ohio in a few years), we have been in Ky for a long time (or a long time to a kid, 5 months). Then he went to asking if Connor was going to go to Emerson when he went to school, that is the school a couple blocks from my parents house. Poor kid doesn't understand that when we move back to Ohio it wont be Massillon, ever.. we'll more than likely end up in Cinci, Columbus, Cleveland... You get the idea. Then he went on to ask my mom if they were coming here for Connor's birthday party, when she said no he replied, "oh so we are going to Ky". Once he realized it is only going to be a skype invite he went on about how unfair it is since they weren't there for the first birthday!
I wish that we lived closer to our families so that Connor can get to know all of his awesome aunts and uncles, and they could be a regular part of his life!
A funny story he told the Sister missionaries about my parents- My dad is the best. Do you know why? Because he lets us wake up and bam, we get to go straight to the video games. But this only happens on days when my mom sleeps all day. If she was awake then she would make us do our chores. But my dad doesn't care.- The funny thing is it was a Sat and my mom rarely sleeps in and the kids all fibbed and told my dad that their chores were done when they didn't do them.
If you need a funny story just ask Joey, or the school libraian... as I am told that is his favorite person to tell stories to!
